Windows Setup

Most SSH clients will work! Here are a few ways, all will require either an SSH key or MIT Kerberos authentication tools installed.

ℹ️ℹ️ For those using MobaXterm or SecureCRT, the MobaXterm and SecureCRT pages have additional helpful default settings to make life easier.

MIT Kerberos

If you’ll not be using the WSL client, please install the latest version of MIT Kerberos for Windows (kfw-VERSION-amd64.msi) from their distribution page. You will need to restart your computer before using MIT Kerberos.

WSL (Windows Subsystem for Linux)

Please install WSL2 to install Ubuntu as a Windows native environment. WSL has kinit pre-installed. Please see the Microsoft instructions here.
