Betty Maintenance
Tuesday, January 20th from 9:00am until 12:00am
Betty will be unavailable from 9:00 AM ET on Tuesday, January 20 through 12:00 AM (midnight) ET the following morning. During this window, logins will be unavailable and no Slurm or Run:AI jobs will run (all running jobs will be stopped).
This outage is to facilitate an upgrade of NVIDIA BCM (the cluster management system) from BCM10 to BCM11.
What you need to do
– Download any files from Betty that you’ll need during the outage.
– If you see ReqNodeNotAvail, Reserved for maintenance for a job you submitted, it means the job’s requested runtime overlaps the maintenance reservation. If possible, shorten the time limit so it can complete before the reservation begins.
– After the maintenance completes, check your queued jobs and resubmit if needed. We do not expect queued jobs to be lost, but please verify.
